Solvay has been operating in Mexico since 1961, when Rhône-Poulenc set up its first subsidiary, which in 1998 became Rhodia.

Solvay Flúor México

Ciudad Juarez plant, Mexico

Solvay Fluor Mexico, S.A. de C.V. operates the Juarez facility in México and primarily produces hydrogen fluoride and ammonium bi-fluoride. Solvay Fluor delivers efficient synergies through its supply of hydrogen fluoride to Solvay Fluorides, LLC’s Alorton Illinois facility for further processing and distribution to customers and to Solvay Specialty Polymers’ West Deptford, New Jersey facility for fluorinated polymers.

Solvay Fluor imports and distributes a wide range of fluorinated products for the domestic market.
